Americas Oldest Continuous Little Theatre--our 98th season
Established in 1916
First production: The Artist, by H.L. Mencken

Foreigner image

April 18-May 18: The Foreigner by Larry Shue, directed by Steve Goldklang.

A painfully shy Englishman finds himself stranded in a rural Georgia fishing lodge, where he pretends not to understand a word of English in order to avoid interacting with others. But, when the other guests start spilling dangerous secrets in front of a "foreigner" they believe cannot understand them, all laugh-out-loud funny heck starts to break loose! The Foreigner received  two Outer Circle Critics Awards as Best New American Play and Best Off-Broadway Production.

FIVE STARS: "this titillating romp will tickle your funny bone and have you howling the night away in hysterics....a remarkably funny evening of theatre!"

"But while each actor is exceptional in his or her role, they are absolute perfection as an ensemble, with such perfect timing and interactions that not a laugh, line or expression is face is still a bit sore from laughing so much. Don’t miss this show!"

"...another gem of a play....The cast and crew at Vagabond bring wonderful life and charm to their production. Catch it before it closes on May 18; you’ll be glad you did."
